Each session is two weeks, limited to 10 campers. Sessions fill on a first-come, first-served basis.

Getting There

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Hope Community Church

27213 473rd Ave, Sioux Falls, SD

Pick-Up
3:30 PM

Both drop-off and pick-up are in the church parking lot. We walk to the ranch together as a group — it's the first lesson of the day.

Daily Hours

What a Day Looks Like

8:00–8:30

Drop-off at Hope Community Church. Walk to ranch together.

8:30–9:00

Opening circle — barn walk, camp song, buddy check, daily intention.

9:00–10:30

Morning horse block — lessons, grooming, anatomy, or riding (Week 2).

10:45–12:00

Morning lesson or activity block — tack, animal care, crafts, or arena work.

12:00–12:30

Lunch — campers and staff eat together every day.

12:30–3:00

Afternoon programming, roping practice, chores rotation.

3:00–3:30

Closing circle — journal time, camp song, preview of tomorrow.

Gear Up

What to Pack

  • Jeans or long pants — required for riding every day
  • Boots or closed-toe shoes — no sandals near horses, ever
  • Sunscreen + labeled water bottle
  • Sack lunch daily — no refrigeration available
  • Rain jacket — we work rain or shine

We never want gear to be a barrier to camp. Reach out before your session starts — we will help.

  • Cell phones — not permitted during camp hours
  • Open-toe shoes or sandals
  • Jewelry or loose accessories
📱 If your child must bring a phone:

Phones must stay in backpacks during camp hours. A designated charging station is available if needed.

🤠 On Day 1 Every Camper Receives:

A cowboy hat, camp scarf, and keepsake journal. Each camper has a designated spot in the barn to keep these items safely each day. On the last day, everything comes home with you — yours to keep forever.
